Noob question????
How can I buy "Fight On!" - when I click the "Purchase" link on the site I get back to the same page...

So ... slow work day? Every day?
So, let me get this right...you send in a submission, and then they sell the magazine with your work in it for their own profit? But you still own your own work....hmm.

"Fight On! needs your submissions!

Please mail anything you’d like to share to iggyumlautNOSPAM@gmail.com (remove the NOSPAM).

*Our authors and artists own all their own work*
Fight On! only asks for the right to print your work in the issue it’s originally published in, in that form, in perpetuity, and in bound volumes of same two years or more after the issue of original appearance is released. Authors and artists own all other rights and may re-use and re-sell their work to anyone else as they see fit. If you want to contact one of our authors or artists about doing something for your game project, contact the editor at iggyumlautNOSPAM@gmail.com (remove the NOSPAM) and he’ll put you in touch (or just contact them directly if you know how)."

Should be playing D&D instead
Interesting thought! I only have the printed Lulu magazines

@Melan can you chime in to Malrexs concerns? I know you worked with them

Yes, that has been Fight On!'s publishing model since the beginnings. Do note this is a zine that basically predates the commercialisation of old-school gaming, and is modelled on stuff like the old Alarums & Excursions. I don't know how much it made, but the profit expectations were basically close to "nil", and the proceeds, such as they were, were spent on commissioning covers from Erol Otus.

The IP clause is so that people ill feel comfortable republishing their Fight On! articles elsewhere, while letting Fight On! releasing compilations of multiple issues down the line.

Thanks Melan.
Bolded--Heh, I know how that is!
Well, I got something...need to write 3 more areas, but maybe Ill submit it. Was supposed to be for & magazine but after four years of waiting was told that it wasn't going to happen and so I expanded it some. Might be too big for what they are looking for, but maybe Ill reach out and see.

Officially better than you, according to PoN
Would there be an interest in shield house rules? Basically, by making shields an active defense you remove the problems that plate users benfit from shields more than the unarmored, a reverse relationship than what it's like in reality.
