Grognardia

8, 8, I forget what is for
After an EIGHT (12/2012 - 8/2020) year hiatus, the sometimes controversial James Maliszewski has resumed daily posts on his blog Grognardia.

Whatever your opinion of him, and it's content, there is something disturbing to me about abrupt endings to successful endeavors. (As a very young fan, it always unsettled me that the Beatles broke up.) I am strangely comforted by this quiet, unheralded, return to form.

I like the beginings of songs and movies better than their ends too. Is it Todesangst?

Cheers

My my my, we just loooove to hear ourselves don't we?
OMG! His blog is like fireside tales with D&D-granpa! So comforting.
He really fucked that Dwimmermount thing up, but it was incredibly cruel the way he got hounded into obscurity for it.

-The takeaway there being, I think, you should always have a mostly-complete product before launching a Kickstarter when it comes to elf-games...
