Plausible.
It's a cartoon frog that became an internet meme used first on 4chan and later on reached wider useage. The peak internet moment happened about the time it was declared an official symbol of white supremacy by the ADL and I think the creator symbolically killed it in the actual comic, prompting loud and raucous cheers and victory parades from 4chan as the ritualistically declared ownership of the frog. See also Kek, Kekistan, Sad Pepes, Rare Pepes etc. etc.

I might consider it. I'm on Tides of Numenera now and it feels like it was written by someone with ADD. Also the actual danger feels like an afterthought. I deliberately assembled the most Anime team I could find, so now I am running around with a lolrandom hero, a 12 year old girl and a telepathic ectoplasmic dog. A guilty pleasure maybe, but PS:Torment it ain't!
