Persistence of Fucking Vision: They're like Dreams! The motionless pictures are moving?!

8, 8, I forget what is for
I am now at the weird point in grumpy-old-timer existance that (especially with the apes movie) I felt like I should not waste my time watching video game characters. It's totally a reverse from someone who watched and cheered the slow growth of SFX in TV and movies since the 70s. I never once felt a single pang of this for 40 years, but now...when it takes over long sections of movies...it's starting to make me cringe. Overdosed allergic reaction?

Cartoons and Pixar movies don't trigger the reaction. Totally-CGI superhero movie sequences, Avatar & Ape protagonists do.

...also women fighting like (and defeating) men clearly beyond their weight-class. Big turn-off---suspension of disbelief ceases.

...and while I'm at it, the current trend of using of notably unattractive actors. Beauty is real and matters, especially in art. It uplifts.

Should be playing D&D instead
Mad max hype

Just saw mm 2 for the millionaire time to prepare

Speaking of practical effects! The fall guy and top gun Maverick bode well!

If feasible practical all the way

And let's be honest mm2 is not feasible
