I typically use it to mean a little meta comment, or inside joke or the like meant to directly address the DM. A kind of fourth wall breaking. I don't know, though, why I have it listed here. Too much of a good thing is bad? Use it sparingly? That's seems trivial in comparison to the other topics.

I think calling it "Breaking the Fourth Wall" is much clearer.
